Render Your First Clip
Use the Render page to create a batch of short clips.
If you have not chosen folders yet, start with Settings. Choose an output folder and, if you want randomized visuals or music, choose background video, background image, and music folders.
- Open Settings and confirm your output and media folders.
- Return to Render.
- Choose Audio Source or Video Source.
- Select your source file.
- Optionally choose a transcript file, or leave it empty for auto-transcription.
- Choose how many clips to create.
- Choose clip length and transcription mode.
- Review caption, branding, visual, and music settings.
- Click Render Clips.
After rendering finishes, open the Review page to play the finished clips.
Free Renders
Section titled “Free Renders”Free mode allows unlimited local renders. Exported videos include Cliporator attribution in the call-to-action area:

Supported Source Files
Section titled “Supported Source Files”Audio files: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, AIFF, FLAC.
Video files: MP4, MOV, M4V, WEBM.
Short Sources
Section titled “Short Sources”Cliporator cannot create clips longer than the source media. If the source is shorter than the chosen clip length, choose a shorter length or use a longer file.
Keep Awake While Rendering
Section titled “Keep Awake While Rendering”Cliporator keeps your Mac awake while a render is running so the job does not pause if the computer would normally sleep. Your display can still turn off.
