Files and Output Folders

Cliporator stores its working files in your Documents folder by default.

Recommended folder structure:

Documents/
Cliporator/
library/
images/
music/
video/
output/
source-file-name/
video/
captions/
transcripts/
overlays/

Each source file gets its own output project folder. This keeps cleanup easier when a project is finished.

Rendered MP4 files are saved in the output project’s video folder.

Generated transcripts are saved in the output project’s transcripts folder so Cliporator can reuse them later.

Cliporator saves project metadata so it can avoid repeating previous clip windows and rerender existing clips reliably.

When Cliporator successfully loads a finished project in Review, it remembers that source/output pair in Previous Renders.

Use Load Review to reopen a rendered batch without finding the original files manually. You can also choose a source file again; if Cliporator finds an existing output project for that source, Review loads the finished clips.
