Set Up Folders and Media
Before your first render, open Settings and choose where Cliporator should save output and find optional media assets.
Output Folder
Section titled “Output Folder”The Output folder is where Cliporator saves finished projects. Each source file gets its own project folder inside that location.
For example:
Documents/Cliporator/output/my-podcast-episode/Inside each project folder, Cliporator stores rendered videos, captions, transcripts, overlays, and project metadata.
Background Video Folder
Section titled “Background Video Folder”Use the background video folder for short looping clips, abstract footage, b-roll, or branded motion backgrounds.
When rendering an Audio Source, choose Video in the Render page’s visual background setting to let Cliporator randomly pick from this folder.
Background Image Folder
Section titled “Background Image Folder”Use the background image folder for still artwork, branded graphics, photos, title cards, or show art.
When rendering an Audio Source, choose Image in the Render page’s visual background setting to let Cliporator randomly pick from this folder.
Music Folder
Section titled “Music Folder”Use the music folder for backing tracks you want mixed under audio-source clips.
On the Render page, choose Music in the background music setting. Cliporator will randomly pick tracks from this folder for the batch.
Video Source Note
Section titled “Video Source Note”When you choose Video Source, Cliporator uses the source video as the visual layer. Background video and background image choices are only used for Audio Source renders.
Refresh Counts
Section titled “Refresh Counts”After adding files to your media folders, open Settings and click Refresh. Cliporator updates the counts shown in the Render page options.
