Troubleshooting

Open Settings and check the Setup Check section. Click Refresh to recheck local tools.

If required tools are missing, click Set Up and wait for Cliporator to finish preparing them.

Check that:

  • a source file is selected,
  • the source is longer than the requested clip length,
  • the output folder exists,
  • setup checks show required tools as ready.

Free mode can render without an active license. If Creator activation is not active, the finished video includes Cliporator attribution.

If Video, Image, or Music shows a count of zero, add files to the matching folder in Settings.

Refresh the Review page and confirm that the selected clip still exists in the output project. Rerendering depends on the project manifest and the selected clip file.

Transcription can be the longest step, especially on long files or older Macs. After a transcript is created, future renders of the same source can reuse it.

Send a support request with:

  • your macOS version,
  • Cliporator version,
  • whether the source is audio or video,
  • the message shown in Activity,
  • the type and length of the source file.
